Everyone knows that veterans spent their careers serving our country, so Tuesday, Buckhorn High School turned the tables on veterans and served them.
More than 140 veterans came out for this annual event, one of the largest in Madison County schools each year. They were seated at a plated breakfast using fine china and served by students and staff. One of the veterans who attended today’s celebration, Don Nayman, is a graduate of Buckhorn High School who served in Vietnam.
Their day ended with a huge program and a flag rollout in the Buckhorn gym.
