Drive-up coronavirus testing in Huntsville, Athens

The testing will start at 9 a.m. and go until either 12 p.m. or capacity is reached.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — There are two upcoming drive-up COVID-19 testing events hosted by Central North Alabama Health Services (CNAHS).

The first one will be held on September 17 at the Huntsville Family Health Center, located at 751 Pleasant Row in Huntsville. The second will be held on September 24 at the Athens Family Health Center, located at 1005 Market St. W in Athens.

The testing will start at 9 a.m. and go until either 12 p.m. or capacity is reached at each event. The tests are free for those without insurance and no co-payment is required for those with insurance.

People are asked to bring their ID and insurance card if they have one. No physician's order or appointment is necessary.
