The Decatur, Priceville, Hartselle, and Flint Churches of Christ are pooling together supplies and volunteers for storm relief aid. A crew will be leaving Thursday.

PRICEVILLE, Ala. — Hurricane Sally hit some of the coastal areas of Alabama and our neighbors hard. One group of churches is still sending out teams of volunteers to help clean up the damage.

Thursday morning, a team is headed down to the Gulf Coast, Gulf Shores area and the Mississippi line near Summerdale. They’ll be taking tarps, roofing materials, clothes, even non-perishable food for people in need. Sunday, September 27 they’re inviting people to come and donate for their next trip.

We caught up with Minister Erick Chaney of Priceville Church of Christ. Chaney says, “Anybody can participate and it's ‘10 at 10’. Ten items at 10 am at Priceville Church of Christ parking lot. We’ll be outside, we’ll social distance and we’ll pray and worship together…”.

If you'd like to donate monetarily, you can write a check to the Decatur Church of Christ Disaster Relief and you can contact them at (256) 353-4256. Click here to connect with the church on Facebook.

Here's a list of items that are needed:
