U. S. Space & Rocket City to be the first site in the Southeast to host the "Roving Along with Perseverance" roadshow

The 2020 Mars mission is landing in the Rocket City this weekend with a free roadshow

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is the only location in the Southeast to host the opening of the "Roving with Perseverance" roadshow.

The show includes full-size twin models of the NASA's Perseverance rover and the famous Ingenuity Mars Helicopter. According to the USSRC, it will be the first place in the country to receive an enhanced exhibit that has a model of the Mars Ascent Vehicle.

You'll get to participate in many activities and education sessions throughout the weekend, including special presentations from members of the Mars 2020 mission team from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The museum's education team also created Mars-themed, hand-on activities for both Saturday and Sunday.

Dr. Stanley Do, one of the members from the Mars 2020 Rover Operations team, will host a free guided tour of the Martian surface using real images taken by the Perseverance.

The planetarium show is first come first serve. Get tickets in advance here.
