HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The suspect wanted in connection with a deadly Huntsville shooting has been arrested in Kentucky, Huntsville Police confirmed on Saturday.
HPD says 34-year-old Kiarah Donque Jones was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Lexington, Kentucky on Friday.
Jones was named as a suspect in the Nov. 17 shooting on Lakeview Drive which killed 35-year-old James Anthony Grays.
Police said Grays had been leaving a party at that location when the shooting occurred around 5 a.m.
HPD says its focus is now shifting to assisting the Madison County District Attorney's Office "to ensure the successful prosecution of this murder."
