Two people have been arrested in connection with the July 13 shooting on Williamsburg Drive that killed one person.
17-year-old Terran Burt and 18-year-old Hassan Erskine were initially charged with Assault and Robbery 1st Degree. Charges have since been upgraded to Capital Murder.
According to Huntsville Police, 27-year-old Charity Fennell from Decatur met the two through social media. They arranged to meet in front of a vacant house on Williamsburg Dr. to buy drugs. Shortly after they met, just before 8:00 p.m. on July 13, there was a shooting in which Fennell received life-threatening injuries.
She passed away the next day due to these injuries.
