TEGNA Inc.’s Locked On HBCU Podcast with host Derrion Gray, continues this week with FOX54 Sports Director Mo Carter. On this episode, Mo breaks down life for Alabama A&M as they move past the Aqeel Glass era.

Several quarterbacks were given opportunities to take the lead as QB1 during spring football practice. Carter says that Coach Connell Maynor will drag this competition out until the late portion fall camp.

Mo Carter also thinks that the Alabama A&M defense is still a "work in progress" under new defensive coordinator Kienus Boulware and this unit will need some time to gel to be successful in 2022.

Locked On HBCU will be available across TEGNA markets and on the Audacy app, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Facebook Podcasts, Stitcher and other podcast platforms.
