CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX is planning a Falcon 9 satellite launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Tuesday afternoon.
The mission will launch the GPS III Space Vehicle 03 into space, while the Falcon 9 rocket's first stage is set to land on the "Just Read the Instructions" drone ship, which will be waiting in the Atlantic Ocean below. The spacecraft will deploy about an hour and 29 minutes after liftoff, SpaceX says.
The original launch window was set for 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, but it was pushed back to 4:10 p.m. due to upper-level winds. A backup launch window is available Wednesday at 3:51 p.m., SpaceX says.

Tuesday's mission is the latest launch after several noteworthy launches so far this year. Earlier this month, the company helmed by Elon Musk successfully launched its ninth Starlink mission, part of a plan to create a global internet network.
Fifty-eight Starlink satellites and 3 SkySats for a company called Planet were on board the Falcon 9 rocket. It launched at 5:21 a.m. June 13 from Cape Canaveral. About 12 minutes later, Planet's SkySats were deployed. The Starlink satellites were deployed about 26 minutes after liftoff.
Last month, SpaceX made history when, for the first time, the SpaceX's Crew Dragon docked ahead of schedule with the ISS for the first time while holding astronauts.
Veteran astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken were launched into space on the Crew Dragon, making them the first NASA astronauts to head to the ISS from Florida since 2011.
