Katie is the 9 PM Newscast Producer at FOX54 News in Huntsville.
As a born and raised Huntsville native, Katie loves producing content and telling stories about North Alabama and sharing just how special this place is!
She graduated in 2021 from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Communication Sciences, specializing in studying film and production at the great school of Reese Phifer, and minored in Creative Writing.
In addition to the news, Katie is an avid music enthusiast, who loves playing her Fender Stratocaster and 1980s Yamaha Keyboard to her adoring fans (her dogs Roscoe and Daisy), as well as spending an ungodly amount of money on concerts/music festivals.
She also enjoys shopping at thrift stores, rewatching HBO shows she’s already seen way too many times, playing video games until there’s no moisture left in her eyes, and scrolling aimlessly through her Twitter feed.
