USA, — The Queen of Country and her sister released a new cookbook, "Good Lookin' Cookin," she revealed on social media.
The cookbook's title is an ode to the 1951 Hank Williams song "Hey, Good Lookin," which helped coin Parton's infamous phrase: “Hey, good lookin’—what ya got cookin’?”
"This is what Dolly Parton sings to her sister, Rachel Parton George, whenever she walks into her kitchen. It’s what you do when a love for good music and good food runs in the family," according to the cookbook's description.
Parton said the cookbook includes family-inspired recipes.
"I wrote this book with my sister, Rachel, who might just be the best cook I know. If you’re like us, you believe that good food and good times are the next best thing to pure love," Parton wrote in an Instagram post. "So take a journey with us into the kitchen."
In the cookbook, Dolly and Rachel share tips on hosting events, including menus for New Year's Day, East, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and more.
"You’ll learn how much butter or whipped cream goes into a “Dolly Dollop,” what condiment is almost always on the table at Parton family meals, and what special dish Rachel makes at Dolly’s request every year for her birthday," the description states.
Recipes include classics like country ham and biscuits, meatloaf, the slaw of many colors, mac and cheese, strawberry shortcake and more.
The cookbook officially comes out on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
