The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering is looking to open in 2020, but right now they need more students and staff for those inaugural classes.
The school is a public state magnet school that will serve both residential and day students.
The inquiry form, which allows you to get more information about the school and have your questions answered, says ASCTE will, “provide academically motivated students with challenging educational opportunities and experiences in cyber technology and engineering. Students will learn in a collaborative environment through hands-on activities, project-based learning, and internships with industry partners in preparation for success in college and the fields of cyber and engineering. They will also have access to state of the art learning facilities, labs, and professional work environments.”
If you’re interested in becoming an instructor at ASCTE, you can find information and an employment survey here. The school is looking for educators and subject matter experts across content areas for the 2020-2021 school year.
