Watch as this cheetah cub and a Labrador Retriever fight like cats and dogs. But don’t worry, because these two are actually besties who’ve formed a special bond at New Jersey’s Turtle Back Zoo.
The predator and the pup were paired up when they were just weeks old because, according to the zoo, cheetahs are shy and skittish by nature. So, having a playful companion like Bowie the dog helps to bring big cats like Nandi out of her shell.
With only about 7,000 cheetahs left in the African wild, Nandi, along with Bowie, helps educate the public on how to protect the species.
