Students at Columbia High JROTC held a remembrance ceremony to honor those who were lost during 9/11.
The event was held this morning in front of the school. During today’s ceremony, Command Sergeant Major, Nathaniel Bartee talked to students about the innocent victims, and the brave individuals who ran into the dust, soot, and danger to help, many of whom did not return.
The solemn occasion concluded with the sounds of taps and the U.S. flag waving in the breeze at half-staff.
