HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Do you have a special love for cats? And like doing laundry? Well, you may be able to help Huntsville Animal Services.
The animal shelter made a post on Facebook a couple of days ago asking those who could to take a bag or two of blankets, bedding and towels used by the cats there and wash them.

The shelter is currently under renovation and the washer and dyer had to be put in storage.
Even if you don't want to do the laundry at home, the post read that if you have 2 to 3 hours a week, they'll pay you to go to a laundromat and do it all at once.
"Cats really need nice, soft bedding, they really need nice towels to create hides for them and so we're trying to be careful, but every day we're producing some laundry and just seeing if some volunteers would come pick it up," said. Huntsville Animal Services Director Dr. Karen Sheppard.
Dr. Sheppard said if you are looking to help, it's best that you call up to the shelter before driving there, just so they can check and make sure bags are out and ready to be picked up.
