COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. — The Colbert County Sheriff’s Department seeks the public's help in finding Brady Allen Thornton, who is linked to a burglary in the Riverton Rose Trail community. Deputies responded to the incident on May 23, 2024, discovering a home had been broken into with several items stolen. Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect. According to the Colbert County Sheriff’s Department, Thornton fled across the Tennessee River in a kayak.
Authorities believe he may be in the Waterloo area of Lauderdale County. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at (256)-314-5839.
