HARVEST, Ala. — A suspect has been charged with capital murder in a deadly shooting that happened in Harvest on Thursday.
Madison County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday in the 100 block of Silver Poplar Place, where they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Carrandas Oshay Jackson, is being held without bond at the Madison County Jail and was booked early Friday morning.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, investigations suggest that the shooting was related to domestic violence.
