Edgar’s Bakery opened the doors of a new location in Huntsville Thursday morning. It’s located at 2004 Airport Road in South Huntsville. This is Edgar’s second location in Huntsville. There is also a location at the Village of Providence. The Airport Road location was originally supposed to open over the summer, but now it’s official.
Owner Terry Smith tells WZDX the strawberry cake is one of the most popular menu items, and right now, there is something else customers are lining up for.
“We’re very close to Mardi Gras so we are selling a lot of King Cake’s,” said Smith. “We were voted in the nation in the top five of King Cake’s .”
This is Edgar’s Bakery’s ninth location in all.
