Alabama Department of Corrections is investigating the stabbing death of a Guntersville man.
52-year-old William Warren was stabbed Thursday at Ventress Correctional Facility in Clayton. He later died as he was being transported to the hospital.
Warren was serving a life sentence for a 1994 murder conviction out of Marshall County.
