A local non-profit organization is providing a way for people in Huntsville to get hands on with 3D printers.
Spore Huntsville offers free 3D printing classes to people in the area. If you’re not an engineer, don’t worry. The classes are geared toward beginners, and if you don’t have a 3D printer to practice with, you can use the one they donated one to Calvary Hill Library. It is available to the public.
Dan Meisner with Spore Huntsville says the goal of these classes is to cut down on plastic waste.
“By combining the recycling of plastic and 3D printing, we think we can empower people to kind of turn their ideas into reality using plastic waste at home,” said Meisner.
You can attend one of the 3D printing classes at Huntsville West tomorrow at 7:00 pm.
