Legendary Alabama football coach Gene Stallings is in the hospital in the Dallas area. We are told he suffered a stroke.
Stallings was scheduled to be in Huntsville Monday evening for an event with former Auburn football coach Pat Dye. That event has been canceled.
Stallings won a national championship at the University of Alabama in 1992. He was the head coach from 1990-96.
