The Alabama ABC Board rescinded an order that banned the sale of alcohol at bars and restaurants past 11 p.m. at a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The restriction originally went into effect on August 1 in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Alabama.
The board also discussed a new ordinance that would allow them to enforce certain coronavirus-related guidelines, such as limiting capacity to 50%, social distancing and wearing face-coverings.
