The Alabama Department of Public Health launched a new online portal allowing Alabamians to check their eligibility for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and to schedule appointments. However, not all counties are available.

Individuals can enter their information into the portal to confirm their vaccine eligibility, select the county they intend to receive their vaccine and indicate whether they want to be notified by email when the vaccine becomes available for additional priority groups.
Additionally, information about the vaccine itself and what to expect when you get the vaccine is available on the site.
A complete list of vaccine providers in Alabama is available on the state's COVID-19 vaccine dashboard. Also included on the website is information on what you should bring to your vaccine appointment, mask requirements and a vaccine fact sheet.
ADPH says that as of February 1, there are more than 326,000 health care workers and nearly 350,000 other people who qualify for the vaccine. On February 8, ADPH says people ages 65 and older and frontline critical workers will add more than 1 million people to the number of people eligible to receive the vaccine.
Due to a limited supply of the vaccine at sites, ADPH says many public health clinics will have to focus on distributing second doses of the vaccine throughout the month of February.
