HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — For you parents out there, you're probably juggling both work and your kids heading back to school.
Here's some tips to help lower anxiety:
Huntsville Psychotherapy and Counseling Services advise parents to continue to take out some personal 'me time'.
That may include watching a favorite film, or going for that morning jog.
Psychotherapist Monretta Vega says it's important where kids are looking to parents during such uncertain times.
"They are going to get that transference of energy, how are you handling this also? And then if it's all negative or all tense, then we're going to expect some tension from the students and that can turn out in behavioral actions," says Vega.
Experts also encourage parents to journal.
