According to the Tennessee Department of Education, the hotline provides free and confidential support from trained volunteer mental health professionals.
The Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse services set up the hotline for healthcare workers and first responders in May, but it has now been expanded to cover educators, according to the Associated Press.
To access the hotline, call 888-642-7886 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Central time.
