HUNTSVILLE, Ala — The Birmingham City council accepted Mayor Randall Woodfin's extension to their current face mask ordinance.
The City council voted yesterday where they came to an agreement on an extension. This is all part of Birmingham's safer-at-home proposal first introduced back in April that allows most businesses to re-open with the proper safety precautions.
The previous ordinance was set to expire this Friday, May 20 and an expiration date for the new extension has not yet been determined.
