Opening Day for the Trash Pandas is not far away, and progress continues at the new stadium, with some key moves happening this weekend.

Take a walk around the Trash Pandas stadium, and you’ll see it’s coming together and really feeling like a baseball stadium. Friday crews began working on getting the team store set up, and employees are starting to move into their brand new offices at the stadium. With just under eight weeks before the first game, Trash Panda’s CEO and Managing Partner Ralph Nelson says they’re busy, but progress on the stadium is moving along right on time.

“We’re working on promotions and ticketing and groups and still signing advertisers up,” said Nelson. “We will make an announcement soon on a major bank partnership.”

And merchandise is about to be moved inside the fan store. Trash Pandas employees will be working in their new offices at the stadium on Monday.

“It’s a combination of the Trash Pandas concept, which is why its called the Junkyard, and then the Space and Rocket concept, which is what we’re all about,” said Nelson of the store’s vibe. There’s also what they’re calling a fun Instagram wall inside the fan store, where of course, fans can take some selfies with their crew.

Walk outside, and the stadium starting to come together.

“The scoreboard is working well the lights are working well, the seats are all in, and all the finishing touches of the stadium club is looking great,” he said. “The only really incomplete thing right now is the parking lot. If we can keep getting days like this, there won’t be any concerns there.”

They’re keeping an eye on all the details so fans have an amazing experience at the stadium.

“Everything we do is all about you having a great time from the time you enter the parking lot to the time you leave the parking lot,” said Nelson.

Trash Pandas fans will also want to know about single game ticket sales, special events, and happening more at the stadium between now and Opening Day, which is April 15th.
