MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. — A 15-year-old is dead after a crash involving an ATV around 11:50 p.m. on Monday. According to ALEA, the Union Grove teen was injured when the Honda four-wheeler ATV they were driving left the roadway and struck a tree. After hitting the tree, the driver and a passenger were thrown from the vehicle. ALEA says neither was using a helmet at the time of the crash.
Both teens were taken to a hospital where the driver was later pronounced dead. The crash happened on Union Chapel Road near Union Grove Road in Marshall County.
The investigation is still ongoing.
