16-year-old killed in Decatur crash involving four-wheeler

DECATUR, Ala. — A teenager was killed in Decatur Thursday night when a vehicle and a four-wheeler crashed.

Emergency responders were called to the intersection of Cedar St. SW and Graham Ave. SW around 8 p.m. The four-wheeler was heading south on Graham Ave. SW, and the vehicle was going west on Cedar St. SW when they collided.

The 16-year-old driver of the four-wheeler was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, where he died from his injuries. The passenger was also taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Both people on the four-wheeler were ejected during the crash.

The Decatur Police Department is still investigating the incident.
