ROGERSVILLE, Ala. — A 23-year-old man was found dead at Joe Wheeler State Park on Monday afternoon, according to Lauderdale County Coroner Kim Jones.
Coroner Jones responded to the scene around 7 p.m. The cause of death remains undetermined, and the body has been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensics in Huntsville for an autopsy.
Authorities are continuing their investigation, and we will update as more information becomes available.
This discovery follows an ongoing search for 23-year-old David Stann, a University of Alabama at Huntsville student who has been missing since September 22.
