HARVEST, Ala. — Madison County Sheriff's Office officials believe a 5-year-old's death in a Harvest neighborhood was accidental.
The child, who had gone missing, was found in water in the area of 100 Loganberry Ln. on Sunday, according to HEMSI officials.
Madison County Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill said that emergency responders took the child to Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children, where he was pronounced dead on Sunday night.
The investigation is still ongoing, and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
