Drive-thru flu shot clinics makes getting your up-to-date vaccine quick and easy

ALABAMA, USA — As flu season in Alabama is quickly approaching with the season running from October to May, the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), the Alabama Hospital Association, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, is urging Alabamians to get the flu vaccine to decrease the spread. 

People wanting to get a flu shot are encouraged to bring their insurance card, but even those without insurance are eligible. According to the ADPH, no one will be denied a flu shot even if the ability to pay is an issue. 

However, outside of Madison County, you may be asked to pay a nominal fee for the injection.

North Alabama offers many different clinics where you can get a flu shot any day of the week.

Below is a list of different North Alabama County Health Departments that offer daily in-clinic injections, according to ADPH.

Outside of the daily in-clinic vaccinations, some counties are also offering flu shots at different locations on specific days outside of the County Health Departments.
