HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The 14th Annual Louis Crews Classic is this Saturday, and Alabama A&M is set to kick off their home game. The Bulldogs will start their first of five traditional Bulldog Walks this season at 4:30 p.m., prior to their game against Kentucky State.
The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will be the sixth meeting between the two teams, with Alabama A&M looking to repeat their 21-13 victory from 2017.
The Louis Crews Classic has become a beloved event for Bulldog fans, marking the beginning of the home football season. This year’s game honors former head coach Louis Crews, who led the Bulldogs from 1959 to 1976, achieving a notable 110-61-3 record.
Since its inception in 2010, the Annual Louis Crews Classic has celebrated the contributions of Crews and his family to Alabama A&M. The Bulldogs boast a record of 9-4 in the classic's history.
