WASHINGTON — Lonnie Coffman of Falkville, AL pled guilty to three felony counts connected to him bringing guns and molotov cocktails to Washington D.C. where he attended the rally outside of the U.S. Capitol prior to the deadly attack.
According to Department of Justice documents, Coffman was charged with possession of an unregistered firearm (destructive device) and carrying a pistol without a license. He entered into a plea agreement on Nov. 12, 2021, for offenses in Alabama and Washington, D.C. He was sentenced in April 2022 to 46 months in prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release.
