Albertville teen faces charges after fatal crash

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — An 18-year-old from Albertville is facing charges, including vehicular manslaughter, after a crash that killed two Albertville students.

Yeismin Ramirez was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The crash happened near Arley Lacey Road and Blessing Road on Nov. 20.

Marshall County Assistant District Attorney Adam Culbert confirmed to FOX54 that Ramirez was the driver in the wreck that killed the two teens.

Ramirez is charged with two counts of first-degree assault and one count of vehicular manslaughter. She is being held on a $500,000 bond. 

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating the crash.
