FLORENCE, Ala. — The Florence Police Department has arrested two individuals in the death of 3-year-old Kaiden Garner.
Blake Joshwell Townsend of Florence, 20, was indicted on one count of capital murder. He was arrested on September 2 in Decatur, Alabama, by FPD with the assistance of the Decatur Police Department. He is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center without bond.
Yalrick Zeonsha Pride of Florence, 20, was indicted on one count of child abuse. She has been arrested and is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center with a bond of $15,000.
According to FPD, an autopsy report showed that the 3-year-old child had been beaten to death.
