HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Back-to-school season is upon us once more! Seems like summer just got started though, right? We know, but many schools in and around the Tennessee Valley are gearing up with start dates that are just a few weeks away! Yep, you read that right, just a FEW WEEKS AWAY! *Imagine you see a sad face emoji here*
On one hand, some children are expressing excitement as they try on new clothes and test out new backpacks; and on the other hand, some kids are truly disappointed about returning to the classroom - because that means no more late nights on their game systems, or scrolling on TikTok.
All the while, teachers started preparing for the year ahead long before these start dates. Do educators even get a "summer break"?
