BOAZ, Ala. — UPDATE: A 25-year-old man is facing a murder charge following a stabbing incident at a Western Sizzlin in Boaz.
River Reed Hammett is currently in custody at the Marshall County Jail after allegedly killing 38-year-old Terfils Saint Juste of Albertville on Tuesday.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the two people did not know each other, suggesting that this was an isolated incident.
Authorities have stated there is no ongoing threat to the public.
