Breeze Airways launches non-stop flights from Huntsville to Vegas

Breeze Airways is promoting $99 one-way tickets from Huntsville to Vegas until September 13, 2022 at 11PM (CST).

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The first Breeze Airways non-stop flight from Huntsville to Las Vegas took to the sky but what made them decide on this route for the Rocket City?

Gareth Edmondson-Jones, the Director of Corporate Communications for Breeze Airways, said, "we look at where everyone wants to go. And so what's amazing is you can look at DOT traffic and see how many people are flying from Huntsville to Vegas today but going through Atlanta and Houston and Dallas. And we can look at those numbers and say, 'well, if there was a nonstop service at a really great price, we could quintuple that number of people and that would be more than enough people to fill our planes.'"

Las Vegas is a popular destination for Huntsville residents but it also opens the door for people to come explore the Rocket City, "Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, but obviously more people are going to want to go to Huntsville if you get an easy flight that's not only cheap and nonstop," Edmondson-Jones said.

He added, "as cities grow and prosper, you see they have great air service connections. And so if you're always having to go through a hub or wait for flights or have really expensive flights, it impedes business."

Let's break down this current promotion:

These flights from Huntsville to Las Vegas only happen on Mondays and Fridays.

The deal lasts until September 13, 2022 at 11 PM (CST) where you can purchase $99 one-way tickets from Huntsville for Monday flights. And $99 one-way tickets from Las Vegas for Friday flights. These only apply to trips from October 26, 2022 through February 14, 2023.

And the promotion has blackout dates from November 16 to November 29 and December 15 to January 3.
