TANNER, Ala. — Calhoun Community College is getting ready for its 2nd Annual Family Fun Day! The free event will take place on Thursday, August 22, from 4:30 p.m. until dark on the Kelley Gymnasium lawn at the Decatur Campus.
“We’re excited to welcome our community back for another year of fun and fantastic memories,” said Dr. Jimmy Hodges, Calhoun President. “This event is not just about sports but about coming together as a community, and we hope to have a great turnout."
People can can look forward to a range of family-friendly activities including bouncy houses, music, face painting, games, and a variety of food trucks. The event will also feature opportunities to meet athletes from the college's men’s and women’s basketball, golf, cross-country, volleyball, softball, baseball, bass fishing, and E-sports gaming teams.
