HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Calhoun Community College is hosting its first-ever career fair focused exclusively on adjunct teaching opportunities.
The college is recruiting for adjunct positions across a wide range of academic disciplines, including business, health sciences, manufacturing and mathematics. The career fair offers an opportunity for attendees to connect with Calhoun's deans and staff.
“We are excited to welcome potential adjunct faculty who can bring their industry and educational expertise to Calhoun,” said Wes Rakestraw, Calhoun’s Vice President of Academics. “This event is an excellent way for us to meet talented professionals who want to make a lasting impact on our students and enrich our academic community,” he added.
The fair is Thursday, November 7, from 9:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. in the Math, science, Computer Information Systems Multifunction Room on the Huntsville Campus and Tuesday, November 12, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. in the Advanced Exhibition Hall on the Decatur Campus.
Attendees are encouraged to being their resume, transcripts and credentials.
