TANNER, Ala. — The Calhoun Community College Career Services team will host its Annual Spring Job Fair on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) on the college’s Decatur campus. This event is free and open to Calhoun students and graduates, as well as the general public.
According to Kelli Morris, Calhoun Director of Career Services, this annual job fair event is one of the largest in North Alabama and will feature over 40 companies who are eager to hire both full and part-time employees.
“With unemployment so low in our area, it's easy for students and community members alike to underestimate the power of networking. By taking the time to speak with local employers, current and future job seekers can learn what skills employers desire, as well as discover new or hidden career paths,” says Morris. “We encourage attendees to come dressed for success with a current proofread resume in hand as some employers may conduct on-the-spot interviews,” she adds.
