HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Considering a future at Calhoun Community College? You can find out about classes, programs, and financial aid options at the school's Spring Preview Night.

The first session will take place on Tuesday, January 11 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Aerospace Training Center on the Decatur campus, and the second session is on Thursday, January 23 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Grand Foyer, Sparkman building, on the Huntsville campus. Both events are free to the public, but registration is required.

Calhoun Community College Advising and Technologies teams are hosting the event.

Some of the topics are:

  • Ways to Pay for College Workshop
  • Technology and Health information sessions
  • VA benefits and how to apply
  • Student life on Huntsville and Decatur campuses
  • School clubs and organizations

Participants will also have an opportunity to meet some of Calhoun’s faculty and staff. “This is the perfect opportunity for students and parents to see first-hand what Calhoun truly has to offer,” commented Dr. Pat Wilson, Calhoun Vice President of Student Services. “So many times in this profession we hear people say, ‘I didn’t know Calhoun had that’ or they don’t realize we have over 50+ degree and certificate program options. This is the event where you will learn about those programs and have dinner on us,” added Wilson.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about student life that is available on both the Huntsville and Decatur campuses, as well as meet students and sponsors involved in various clubs and organizations.

Registration is highly encouraged as refreshments will be served. To register, please visit www.calhoun.edu/PreviewNight.
