HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Two branches of Chase Bank have been confirmed to be opening in North Alabama later in 2023. The specific locations include a branch at 6275 University Dr. (in the former Atlanta Bread restaurant space) and 8160 Highway 72 in Madison, which will be a new building in the Clift Farm area.

There are currently three branches open in Birmingham, Auburn, and Tuscaloosa. Bank officials confirm there will be additional branches opening in the Birmingham market, with a total of 10 locations open by the end of the year.

In 2024, they said, plans are in motion to open more Chase Bank locations in North Alabama. “We’ve had our sights set on Huntsville for quite some time and we are thrilled to open our doors here for the first time later this year,” said Jennifer DiSalvo, Chase Market Director for Alabama and Mississippi, adding that the rapid growth in the area was a primary factor in the decision to begin operations in the area.

Though Chase's presence will be new to Huntsville, the company has operated commercial banking services in the area for more than eight years.

Each of the two future branches will staff between 8-10 local bankers, with a minimum wage of $20 per hour plus benefits. Opportunities will be posted at Chase's website.

There will be various meeting spaces at each location, including casual booths, meeting pods, an open living room, and a "digital access bar."

Chase is an active supporter of the Huntsville Heart Ball benefiting the American Heart Association and has supplied CPR kits through local nonprofit Still Serving Veterans.
