Huntsville Comic Convention makes Lowe Mill its epicenter for fans

Admission is free! Fans can expect celebrity guests, collectibles, and more.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Grab your capes, put on your masks, and get ready for the Huntsville Comic Convention this weekend at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. Since 2017, this place has been delivering the fan-friendly extravaganza featuring guests, vendors, and artists offering a plethora of treasures including comic books, toys, J-POP, Manga & Anime Items, jewelry, posters, collectibles, and much more! 

Mark your calendars for the upcoming convention on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, 2024. The show will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days. Parking is available at $10 per car, but fear not, admission to the show is entirely free. So, load up your car with friends because the more, the merrier – and the cheaper it is to attend. 

The guest of honor for this event is Sherrilyn Kenyon, the world-renowned author of The Dark-Hunters and The League series, boasting over 80 million books. Kenyon will be signing her books for free.

Joining the lineup are:

  • Tracy Yardley: Sonic comic book artist, credited with over 275 issues of Sonic the Hedgehog.
  • Samantha Newark: The voice behind JEM from JEM and the Holograms, as well as Transformer’s Ariel & Elise Presser.
  • Roberto Yun Rodriguez: Animator behind Family Guy, Gravity Falls, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Ultimate Spiderman.
  • Creek Wilson: With over 40 movie credits including Red Dead Redemption 2, Twisted Metal, Haunted Mansion, and We have a Ghost, among others.
  • Zachary Ryan: Animator for Bojack Horseman, Gear Squad, and the creator of the innovative card game KARDRATE.

Additionally, D. Alan Lewis, an award-winning author with 31 books will be joining!

Lowe Mill A&E has 152 working studios housing over 200 artists & makers, 7 galleries, a theatre, a community garden, and a performance center. And let's not forget the 11 restaurants, along with coffee & tea shops, and even a whiskey distillery.
