HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Crestwood Medical Center confirmed on Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer Matthew Banks has resigned.
Banks, began his tenure at Crestwood in July 2022, previously served as CEO at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, for four years.
The reason for Banks' resignation was not disclosed. In a statement, Crestwood Medical Center said, "Matthew Banks has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer of Crestwood Medical Center and is no longer with the organization. We appreciate Matthew’s dedication and contributions to the organization. Recruitment efforts to identify a new CEO will begin soon."
