HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Not all children can be home for the holidays, but the Child Life team at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children works to help each child feel special while they are in the hospital.
With COVID-19 still raging, people have been asking how they can donate this year, since there are no large collection sites.
All donations are quarantined for 72 hours prior to giving them to patients.
The Huntsville Hospital Foundation says that if you are interested in purchasing toys and bringing joy this giving season, Huntsville Hospital Foundation has made it easy. You can shop Child Life’s Amazon Wishlist to purchase online and have items shipped directly to HHW&C by shopping at https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/2N4HAII2GX354. High-priority items include Play-Doh, colored pencils, and toys for infants, toddlers and teens.
If you have one or two toys that you want to donate, you can give them to the security guard at the front desk of Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children.
Anyone with larger donations can call (256) 265-7242 to schedule a time for drop off.
