HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — An early morning apartment fire at the Reserve at Fairway Hills has displaced five to six residents. According to Huntsville Fire and Rescue, no injuries have been reported.
Officials say the fire began around 1:30 a.m., and firefighters arrived to find flames shooting from the roof of one of the units. Huntsville Fire and Rescue reports that six fire units responded to extinguish the blaze, but the building is considered a total loss.
The American Red Cross is assisting the affected families, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
