HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — If you're looking for a way to help out during the pandemic, you have a chance this weekend.
Engineers Without Borders is holding a food drive this Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th to benefit the Downtown Rescue Mission.

They are taking up donations of non perishable foods like canned goods, peanut butter, and granola bars. They will be collecting items at the Downtown Rescue Mission from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm both days.
DRM Director of Ministries Jay West said, "Some of our donations have gone down and we always have a need for non perishable goods. Not only do we feed all the people who are part of the mission here, but we also donate food bags to the community."

The Downtown Rescue Mission serves over 900 meals a day and gives out food bags every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
