PRICEVILLE, Ala. — A three-vehicle wreck in Morgan County led to one death and one hospitalization. According to Decatur police officers with the Priceville Police Department saw and responded to a wreck involving three vehicles Friday afternoon at the intersection of Upper River Rd. and Hwy 67.
Decatur Police and Fire & Rescue went to the scene. When they arrived, officers determine an SUV and a motorcycle were involved in a wreck. The motorcyclist, identified as Jacob Lee Clarke, 20, of Decatur, was pronounced deceased on scene by Morgan County Coroner Jeff Chunn.
DPD said the impact pushed both the SUV and motorcycle into an 18-wheeler carrying diesel fuel, causing a fire. The driver of the SUV was transported to Decatur-Morgan Hospital to receive treatment.
