DECATUR, Ala. — The second annual 'Fill Up the Farm Truck' school supply drive is returning to Decatur. Alabama Farmers Cooperative (AFC) will host the drive from July 22 to July 26, 2024, aiming to collect new school supplies for local students in need through the United Way of Morgan County.

Community members are invited to drop off donations at AFC's office located at 121 Somerville Rd. NE, Decatur, AL 35601, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

“Our mission at Alabama Farmers Cooperative is cultivating meaningful life on and off the farm,” said AFC Marketing and Public Relations Director Tiffany Lester. “By hosting our Fill Up the Farm Truck School Supply Drive, we hope to do just that by easing the burden not just on parents facing financial difficulties but also the teachers who often spend their own money to provide supplies for their classrooms. We invite our community members to invest in local students with us so they all will have access to the necessary tools for a productive learning experience.”
